Andrea B. Shaw, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) announces the opening of her psychotherapy office at 189 E. U.S. Hwy 40, Troy, Illinois. Easy access is available on U.S. Hwy 40 with public transportation nearby. Parking and handicap accessible ground floor entry is located in the rear of the building allowing for added privacy and security. The services offered are Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling for Adults, Couples and Adolescents (Age 13+). Therapy is provided to improve the quality of life by helping individuals cope with mental, physical, emotional and social changes, which may also include the abuse of alcohol or other drugs. Services offered are Individual & Group Therapy, Assessments, Treatment Planning, and Linkage to Inpatient/Outpatient programs or other community resources as needed.

Ms. Shaw is a native of Southern Illinois and relocated from New York in 2005. Ms. Shaw received a Master of Social Work Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois and Missouri. Ms. Shaw is experienced in the provision and management of clinical services to adults and adolescents in various settings, including a Community Mental Health Center, Residential and Day Treatment Programs, Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Addictions Treatment Center and an Employee Assistance Program. Her experience in the treatment of individuals living with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse offers a comprehensive approach when treating clients presenting with the co-occurring disorders.
